IFAA European Indoor Championships 2012
This tournament will take place from 21st to 24th March 2012 at Parnu, Estonia. The FAAE will be issuing details of the tournament and venue in the near future.
IFAA European Bowhunter Championships 2012
Italy will be hosting this event from 23rd to 30th June 2012 at the Castione della Presolana ski resort, near Bergamo, Italy. There is a maximum capacity of 1000 archers for this tournament and it is expected to fill very quickly. The venue is within easy reach via car from Milan Malpensa Airport. A program of the tournament has been provided which can be sent out on request by contacting Mathew Symmonds. Wales has been allocated 10 places for this tournament which we need to declare to the Italian Federation before 15th April 2012 when general registration opens. Archers who wish to compete at this tournament need to contact the Team Manager, Mathew Symmonds to book your place. Places for this tournament will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Future Tournaments
EFAC 2013 will be hosted in Sopron, Hungary. Dates have yet to be confirmed but it is likely to take place in the first week of August. The venue is within easy reach by car from Vienna Aiport. Further details will follow in 2012.
The European Bowhunter Championships 2014 will be hosted at Confolen, near Bordeux, France. Dates have yet to be finalised but the current proposal is to hold the tournament from 6th to 12th June 2014. The registration fee is likely to be approximately 120 Euros and there will be 2 ranges, hence we expect it to fill quickly once registration opens in 2013.
The European Regional Committee have granted hosting rights for EFAC 2015 to Sweden. Sweden have hosted this tournament several times before so it promises to be a good tournament. Details will be posted in 2013.
