The aim of the class divisions is to give
field archers something to shoot for and to benchmark their ability within
the context of Field or Hunter rounds. The classification system also
enables archers to compete at tournaments against other archers of a similar
ability. To classify within a given class, you must submit two rounds within
the higher division. The scorecards must be countersigned as per IFAA rules
and submitted to the Classification Officer. The classification officer will
then award you your new classification. Your classification is recognised
worldwide under IFAA rules. Once archers have reached A class, there is a higher incentives awards scheme. Each incentive reached is rewarded with a patch. For information on A class incentive awards, click here |
