Welsh Development Squad
The Welsh Development Squad for 2010 will be announced
shortly after New Year. (29/12/09)
Welsh Squads Development 2010
With the new Welsh National Coach, Ray Howells now in post, plans have
already been developed to provide more structured training and development
for Wales' top archers. The National Squad will resume and development
will be via a series of squad sessions where the coaches will work to
develop the squad and realise their potential using a structured approach.
The Development Squad will follow a similar format with their development programs being directed to suit their needs and raise their capability as archers. (05/12/09)
WFAA Welcomes New Coaching
Team
For 2010 there will be an all-new coaching team, headed by the National
Coach, Ray Howells. Ray and his National Squad coaches, Mariam Howells and
John Hindley offer a vast amount of experience and will provide a more
structured squad development program than we have previously seen within
the WFAA.
A team of coaches for the Development Squad will be selected shortly and they work with the Development Squad according to the format laid down by the National Coach. (01/12/09)
