The Welsh ranking system began in 2005 and is designed to enable members to measure where they are competitively against other archers in their style category. Members' classification scores are posted on the ranking table as they are submitted to the classification officer.

The overall ranking will be taken by the sum of the archer's highest score in each quarter of the year plus his/her highest other recorded tournament or classification score. The archer may submit any number of scores to assist their ranking. There is no fee for entering the ranking system but the archer must be a WFAA member.

Ranking scores can be submitted from any classification shoot or tournament. The rounds which can be submitted are: Hunter, Field and Expert. Animal, 3d, PAA and other rounds cannot be submitted for ranking.

A prize will be awarded to the top ranking archer in each style category at the end of the year. Rankings are also taken into account during Welsh Squad selection.

Any archer who does not wish to feature on the ranking table must inform the classification officer in writing when submitting classification or tournament scores.

Good luck everyone!
